the other day I couldn't find the Hills have eyes two unrted so I rented Smokin Aces. It was pretty cool.

Everyone says that and I wonder why. i personally did not like it. I thought the whole movie sucked until the very very end. I wonder if the great end might have masked the sucky rest. Kinda like how the entire second movie in Grindhouse sucked till the car chase and the end. Of course it's just my opinion. lol

Smokin' Aces wasn't great by any standard, but it was entertaining. I think the movie's strong point was the colorful characters and their little backstories. They tried to pull off a Guy Ritchie type film like "Snatch" or "Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels," but they didn't do nearly as well on it. Overall though I didn't feel like I had wasted an hour and a half of my life which is a good sign.

Really fun, interesting movie I thought. Like Cory said, the characters were really colorful. It reminded me of a Tarantino film, where you're introduced to a few characters and somehow they end up webbing together. I liked it quite a bit. Solid cast, a decent story, good action. Me liked it a lot.
