Alien Vs. Predator

Well last night I saw AVP and I have to tell you.... IT WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!
I won\'t give you a review or a summary, but I was tell you this: Go see it now! If you were ever a fan of the Alien or Predator franchises, or just a good movie, I can almost guarantee you won\'t be disappointed. I was skeptical going in, as I\'m sure some of you are, but it easily exceded my greatest expectations. I can\'t recommend this movie any more

What pisses me off (not having seen it, going in 45 minutes...) is that it is rated PG 13.... Why is it that, instead of making a movie that was basically created by fans of both franchises has completely ignored that audience and gone straight for the money making audience... Very, very aggrivating... Like I said, it could still rock, but I KNOW it should be rated R, without even having to see it.

actually the film isdamngood for a pg 13..better tha nfvsjwhichmade nosense and screwed up there back stories..AVP stuck to it and explained in a way that was realistic..Great film

Yea, why would they try and make money off the film!?!?!?! :blink: If an R rating is how you judge any film you need to re-think your judgement process, really meaning if you need cursing, violence, nudity and lots of blood to enjoy a film, you need to re-think your judgement process. I mean, Alien and Aliens. That would have gotten a PG-13 rating by todays standards. Hell, other then some of the language and the skinning scene of Predator that might have gotten a PG-13 rating. Be turned off by cast, directors, and reviews, not numbers and letters at the ticket booth. And I am saying this in consideration to the fact it is SCI-FI and not horror.
