Hi guys, you probably havent seem me around for a while, Acutally i think i have not been on this board more that 10 times this past year. It's been a wierd past two years for me. Lots of stuff going on in my personal life. Two years ago around this time of year I decided to help out a local haunt. I made them over a dozen masks and asked that they pay form my materials and whatever else they felt was approperiate. Now mide you I never wanted to actually make a profit just cover all materials and a little of my time. Well to make a long story shot for almost 2 months of work i recieved 100.00 total for materials and time. It was my fault I guess I never laid down the basis on how long it actually takes to make the masks. Now the money issue did rub me the wrong way but that was only half of it. When i was helping them in the haunted house i saw the masks i made thrown around, laid on, steped on and basically destroyed. One other thing was that the guy I was working with was a close friend so that just made all of this that much worse. As any mask maker knows we hate to see our work destroyed or unappreciated. So after halloween 2005 I gave up. I put my supplies away and said screw it. Last year I made the phantom of the opera masquarade ball mask for myelf for halloween but it never made it to molding. A few days ago a buddy of mine asked me to make the Leslie Vernon mask for Behing the Mask. WOW i actually had never seen this movie. So i watched it and was impressed with the story line. Now for the mask itself, it kinda looks cheesy to me but very simple to do. Anyway i guess the best part of what i am saying is that i really am not expecting anything from this person except to make him smile and tonight i am proud to say I AM SCULPTING AGAIN!!!!! WOOHOOO <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> The downfall was that i destoyed the phontom mask i had finished sculpting. OOPS , oh well I do that alot lol, I think over the past few years i have completely destoyed 5 sculpts before they ever made it to molding. Anyone else do this or am i just nuts <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"ohmy.gif\" />

This makes me happy to see you making return man, like I told you on MSN, I loved your work. Such great stuff. I can't wait to see you do the Vernon mask. I started sculpting one but didn't have enough reference to finish. It's a killer movie though.

It is nice to see you back in the clay, Jwolf. You probably don't remember me, but I bought a mask off of you a few years back. The sale was the best mask purchasing experience I have ever had. Hands down.Oddly enough, it was you actually that referred me to the NIGHTOWL messageboard in Oct '04!Glad to see you back again!
