Hey bretboy, your approach is way off. concentrate on FORM at first. please do your self a favor and check out these "youtube" vidsSculpting demo by Philippe Faraut or "Crazy".. and remember, if the "form" underneath the skin doesnt make sence all the detail in the world will look like shit. if your going to s c u l p t, and be decent at it you must learn a bit about anatomy. hope this video will help you. good luck. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> LURKINGFEAR2 <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" />

    for your 411, in the context in which i was using it.. its "S C U L P T" sculpture! a sculpture is a thing.. To "s c u l p t " or "s c u l p t i n g" is an action. learn the difference.i guess this one is directed to the : webmaster?

I think David B. has the right to break down his sculpture since he himself is a great sculptor. If anything he needs criticism because he's right, the entire approach is off. If you're sculpting to try and take fuzzy webcam pics that's fine. But if you actually want accurate form than take your time and learn the right way to do it. A lot of younger sculptors get excited to show pictures fast so they rush into details. Take your time. Also, I would think it is way to small if you ever plan on wearing it.

bretboy- My comments were not meant to discourage you in any way, please dont take them as such.its just that i have seen you post a "few" times concerning your work. and i felt like you were "struggling".so, i thought being straight with you would either make you want to take it to the next level, or through your hands up and quit. if you have desire to get "better", my comments will soon mean something.again, GOOD LUCK.Willowman- didnt mean to offend, just found the "sculpture" feature a bit annouying.toneguy- some one mentioned above "were not dumb"....then again im not pointing fingers.Dan D- Thankx man."until next time create some THING, you'll be glad you did". As has been said, you just need to practice at it, its looking like a good start though.Sculpting takes time, its frustrating trying to get your hands to do what you can see in your head, every sculpture you do you'll get better at it.The fx masterclass dvds are good, particularly the first one, and there are a few on youtube as well.Lastly get as much referance as you can of what your sculpting, seems like a no brainer, but as many different angles as you can find is what you need, things tend to look a lot different in different lighting.
