Man, I have tolerated them for over a decade. This is just outrageous.Limits on shipping! No checks or money orders? Most of this doesn't effect me but this is just gone too far.http://pages.ebay.com/sell/August2008Update/Overview/

Why is having a shipping and handling fee limit bad?Gets rid of those sellers that are selling items for $5 and then adding $175 for shipping.

Greed is the factor. When sellers chose to accept checks or MO's Ebay can't snag more fees thru its Paypal company.....Ebay is headed down a slippery slope. Once it was the 800 lb gorilla but it keeps shooting itself in the foot with dumbass decisions..............................Larry

Money orders are BIG problem on ebay! I've paid twice with a money order, one for 500 and the other for 190 and guess what, see ya hard earn't cash.Looking back on it, they had a nice little scam going, I say they because I had two different guys emailing me telling me different stories about my goods. One is well know on this forum! If you pay via PAYPAL and get stung, at least you have PayPal's (limited) protection, and if all else fails, I can walk into my local bank and say that I didn't authorise the payment, get a full refund. It's amazing how fast the bank gets refunded when its seraching for its own money and not that of its customer.

Im mostly an ebay buyer, and this works out pretty good for me. Some sellers are real jurkoffs with their S&H charges, and I hate when I win something and the seller says "I don't take paypal" Its like playing the lotto.
