I am sure anyone who can work leather can make one. I know the local flea market here has a leather-smith? Most fleas do, maybe check them out. It may be cheaper.

If for some odd reason you don't believe me, shoot Derek Mears an email on Myspace and he'll confirm it. www.myspace.com/derekmears

SirMWK is correct. It is a horse tack or bit ...whatever..lol, that holds the pouch which would have to be handmade unless you get lucky and find something that looks like it.Good luck on that.i had to make my own.The horse tack and pouch has a strap below the pouch for the leg, and is attached around the waist with the reins from the bridal.as for the machete, it slips behind the pouch into a frog or just a loop to hold the machete in place.there is no sheath. As Derek said it is just dangling from the pouch which makes it tricky to walk, but that is the way it is.lolI am on the lookout for a large real machete that closely matches the new one, but for now, I will be using my VS since it is large like the remake.I could not find cheap reins so I just used a leather strap I found.I will post pics of my apparatus soon.I am closing in on finally finishing my updated remake costume before the flick comes out.
