I went to the midnight showing of Friday the 13th just for 30 minutes into it the sound cuts out... It didn't just cut out though only dialogue did. All other sound worked fine... I got a refund but I am heavily disappointed and to tell you the truth I wasn't too amazed with how the movie was going as it is. Loved the intro..

I hope it works out next time I see it. That was such a bummer when the noise kicks out.

Got to see it yesterday, so you could say I could see both my loves on Valentines Day, my girlfriend AND jason voorhees <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />Well, I wasnt dissapointed with the remake, I loved it. Jason is a whole new character, but its not a bad difference. He is more menacing, and really this movie was a perfect resemblance of a "modern friday the 13th". For a modern horror movie it was great. Now in no way was it my favorite Friday the 13th, but it sure was fun to see Jason back in theaters rather than the SHIT movies new line kicked out in the past decade... The kills were great. Very creative, not just straight up slashings. The costume REALLY grew on me.. BUT i still hate the shape of the hockeymask. The sideviews looked strange, but head on it wasnt so bad.Spoilers:<span style=\'color:#000000;background:#000000\'>Still think at the end when jason popped out of the lake he should have been unmasked... It would have been more of a classic Friday the 13th moment.... I dont know WHY they would want him to have the hockeymask on especially since they threw his body into the lake unmasked with a broken strap on the hockeymask... But it did give it a dream vibe. They should have shown him unmasked clearer... Plus his death shoudl have been the classic axe to the head... The archery kill was great too.. loved that</span>

what me and a few other people on here think.. is that the mask just came unsnapped, but i do agree, a non masked jason popping out of the water would really hit home with parts 2,3 and 4. hell even part 1 when he comes out of the water as a boy in the dream sequence. hopefully we will see a sequel and they keep Derek, he owned that role.i want to see what kane hodder and the rest of the previous Jasons thought about this film..
