Snatched this from Cinema Blend. A new trilogy is being tossed around:<a href=\"http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Is-Williamson-Back-For-Three-More-Screams-12136.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Is-Williams...eams-12136.html</a>

I'm looking forward to it!I'd much rather see a remake, as everything past the original was just crap. Hell, I thought Scary Movie was a better Scream movie than Scream 2! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" />

I actually enjoyed the entire series. A remake? Not what I'd want to see......

A remake of a movie from the 90's? That's just ridiculous. Never had much interest of the original movies and probably won't bother with any new ones.

it is super quick to be doing a remake lol but seriously I thought the series was great for 90's horror, definitely a lot better than the pg 13 grudge and the ring and shit like that, i seriously hate how people think those movies are scary, Scream isn't necessarily scary but they were suspenseful and had plenty of laughs, the opening for the original is awesome with drew barrymore

Well see they took their own route with the "truth" of the story... Instead of a remake, how bout an different take on it? I know its VERY loosely based, but maybe one that actually dwells more upon the truth, and maybe not featuring the iconic ghostface?

its loosely based on deaths that took place in gainesville florida. multiple muders occured with college students and the killer would leave them in sexual positions after he had killed them.
