Hey guys, I just finished reading Brian Keene's The Rising and City of the Dead, and I'm kind of obsessed at the moment, haha. If any of you guys here are into zombies, these books take a very unique stance on the mythology surrounding zombies as we know them. However, there is a third book that is currently out of print called "The Rising: Selected Scenes From The End Of The World". I was wondering if anyone here knew of a way I could score a copy of this anywhere. I've seen a couple on the net from $49 to $160, and all I want to do is read it, haha. I'm not a book collector, actually I bought the first two on the Kindle store, so buying a book that expensive when the proceeds don't go to the author (who is cool as hell, btw), doesn't make a lot of sense in my situation. Anyway, this post may be a little self fulfilling, but I posted it here actually just to let anyone who has not read these books to check them out. I couldn't put them down. I first heard about them on a zombie documentary titled "Zombiemania" on Netflix. Now after reading them, I really can not wait to read the third. Not to mention the rest of his horror novels. Looks like the Kindle store's gonna take a nice chunk out of my wallet, haha. Anyone else here enjoy these books?

If you liked those make sure you read Keene's "Dead Sea". It's the goriest of his books, I swear you can smell the rotting flesh as you are reading it. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> mike
