This may seem dumb...i\'m not sure, don\'t really work with metal. Can you make metal for flexible for heating it, i\'m sure u can right? what level for an oven and how long? I should i have a special tray to keep the metal wire on when i heat it?

 You do not want to put metal in a microwave. You could blow the damn thing up. No metal at all, no matter how low of a setting you put it on.

Use a blow torch and hold the metal with a pair of rubber handled pliers. Wink
