I have joined 2 different forums about my other thing, boats. A bunch of boring hiney, snobby people. Any of you have this happen? Cause here is waaaaay better.

Yeah sometimes forums can have a community that bullies new members to the point you don't want to visit the site anymore. This forum is an exception

Great place to hang out with lots of friendly collectors willing to help each other out. :thumbsup:
Sadly on some of the other forums there are some really snobby people with deep pockets who only praise perfection & feel that what they own is always superior.  The worst thing is when those same people who have never ever done a project themselves & choose to cut other people's work.

That is the main reason I have been here for 10 years. The NIGHTOWL forum is very inviting and usually pretty fun. It also contains many of my best collecting friends I've ever made throughout the years, who tend to post and read here more often than most other forums because one giant "Off Topic" area is so easy to browse and keep up with.
My thanks definitely goes out to Justin and Jeff for keeping it up and running this long...Here's hoping it stays active forever! Cheers, Ryan

I've been on a lot of forums but NIGHTOWL has always been my favorite and the best place to come.
You have the coolest people on here and some of my friends that i've been friends with since I started collecting also post on here. Ryan being one of them and i really agree with your post. Couldn't of said it better my self. Really hope the forum stays here and I would like to thank Justin for everything. Great masks and a great forum with great people. I'll always be here. |
