It's the Epiphone Tom Delonge Es-333 with Hardshell case. This guy goes for 500.00 at Guitar center and I picked it up at 275 with hardshell on craigslist. I am very happy.

I'm digging it, Brett. Love the styling.

Hey, did you buy it locally on Craiglist, or did you have it shipped to you?

I ask, because I'm always weary of buying a guitar that I cannot play first.

How does your sound? No bowing of the neck or anything?

bought it locally, the guy met me at Guitar Center in Florence and we struck the deal. Sounds great, no blemishes no issues, he barely played it, looks like it has been cased up the entire time.

    Well, congrats then! Great pickup!

I think Epiphone gets played down in reputation too much...they're quite great, imo. I have one, myself...

As for epiphones, I have 6 or 7 Epi's ranging from LPs, (100s, Standards, Studios) SGs, Dots, etc. and they all sound freakin awesome. As long as they are played through the right amp and are connected to proper pedals, you can make even the crappiest guitar sound halfway decent. Sure, I'd love to have an actual Gibson LP, but until I can afford to drop a couple grand, a 4 or 5 hundred dollar Epi will do just fine!

Thanks guys, I agree! I've actually owned two gibsons. I had the Gibson Les Paul Special in worn cherry and a Gibson Sg Special in worn cherry. Both sounded awesome, but this guitar is right up there with them. I also had 3 delonge fender strats that I loved. I wish I still had one of them to go right along with this.

    it's my old guild de'armond
broke the neck a few years back and just put it away as it was in a bad place to break it but decided I'd have a mess around and try repair it myself and have a new fret board made for it, I'll also be sanding off the silver glitter finsih down to the wood and just having it natural if the wood grain is nice Wink

got no gaurantees it's gonna work wbut it was such a cracking sounding guitar it's worth trying

wow that looks like fun man! OUCH! I am going to check out a marshall half stack that comes with a fender strat for only 400.00 tonight after work. I may pick that up, but there is also a guy locally that has the black delonge strat for 400.00 decisions, decisions!
