Anyways, the director of this short film used it as a pitch to Warner Bros. hoping they'd allow him to reboot the MK movie series. For what he did in 10 minutes (and his own film crew) is better than both official films that were released. It's the Mortal Kombat storyline meets the realism of The Dark Knight. Very cool.

But I just came across a short series entitled Mortal Kombat: Legacy. (which iss based off of the first teaser short film) I'm only on episode 2 now, but it is FREAKIN awesome. You guys oughta take some time to check these out. Very entertaining. Once the series is complete, I'd love for someone to mix them all together into one continuous video.

the webseries is really cool, they are shown online i believe every tuesday night, not sure where, i always download them wednesday mornings from megaupload. the latest episode is scorpion, which was really cool, as was raiden, i think scorpion will have get 2 episodes, so they can merge them with subzero, kind of like they did with Kitana, and Mileena.

The promo video is uber awesome! I'd love to see a full length movie with that plot and characters ANY time! Will check the online episodes for sure.
