The end of "hair metal" stands out most, also the emergence of Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer.

1991 was the year the pixies died(by the way i seen them live a few weeks ago at there reunion tour!!!!) Giving birth to Nirvana. Lead singer Kurt Cobain sets the trends for the early 90\'s, with the media labeling it \'Grunge\'.(i hate that term, it\'s still rock & roll to me) Cobain and Jerry Garcia pass away in 94. Bands like Soungarden and Pearl Jam carry on the \'grunge\' torch. \'Grunge\' fades off around 95, soon a Pale \'Spooky Kid\' by the name of Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson emmerges only to shock every kids parents. That took care of the late 90\'s up until 98\' we\'re everything seemed to have died The Pumpkins were branching off into electronic music, Manson had just become tiring. Also the 90\'s delivered the worst of Jason movies JGTH. Oh man, i so remember that day! It was horrible!!! I like all the parts with Jason in it though, but man what a weird storyline. A lot more happened, but that\'s all that really sticks out in my mind at the moment.
Never will i forget the 90\'s. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Myself, i dedicate the 90\'s to Kurdt Cobain.
