Just To Set The Record Straight

I just wanted to clear things up with a few of you guys that seem to think I was being an ass the other day. This involves my issues with Bob.
A few of you think that it was as simple as "lol, Bob and Mark made the same thing".... It wasn\'t and I\'ll explain this in depth for you.

Awhile back I started a thread where I hinted that I was sculpting a piece that shows us Fred\'s \'true face\'. It was speculated on 4 pages that I was making a pre burn Fred.
Bob decided he would beat me to the punch and do his own. He even went as far as posting a picture of his in my thread. Cool, whatever Bob. Good for you, you finished yours before I finished mine. But Bob stated that he "asked around" and no one knew anything about it?? 4 pages Bob... That\'s where you got the idea.

In that very same thread I CONFIRMED that I was making a New Nightmare piece.
Yet again, Bob decides that he would beat me to the punch and do his own. Another idea of mine that he tried to take out from under me. Again, whatever Bob, good for you.

Now HERE is the icing on the cake. After I release the unfinished photos of mine, Bob decides to make another and copy mine. Don\'t believe me? Take a look at the picture below. He even went as far as making the photos B&W, like I did. I don\'t hold the rights to B&W photos, but come on. I copied the eyes (at the bottom) because that\'s where you will see the most identifiable shapes. I made the eyes in mine a certain way that was just a little different than the film and gosh, so did Bob. Bob stated that he didn\'t look at a single picture of mine when he sculpted his second NN.

Its not like this film was just released. Coincidence that Bob took both of my ideas and made them his own? Then did a resculpt after I show pics of mine? And then says that he didn\'t use a single picture of mine as reference?





I just wanted to clear the air here. I WAS being a smart ass when I said that instead of calling him the \'Reel to Real Killer\', he should call it \'The Copy Cat Killer\'... I was going to leave it at that but some of you guys, including Bob had to jump in with smart ass comments. I LOVE competion but I don\'t like someone purposely stepping all over my toes... Repeatedly and intentionaly.

I\'m interested in knowing your honest thoughts on this one.

I\'m not worried about the stealing of ideas. But few of you guys thought that I was trying to \'steal the light\' from him. When, in fact, it was just the opposite. I dont care who does what but be a man and say yeah, I took his ideas AND copied his work.

I\'m closing this topic for fear of it getting out of control. I just want this post to be for Mark and his feelings, frustrations about the situation that got out of hand the otherday and get his message out to the members!!!
