    I can\'t believe how much dust these things collect. I heard that introducing any liquid to latex is a bad idea, but would a damp cloth really hurt?

    nothing as long as you thoroughly clean and dry it off afterwards it should be fine

    I use a really quality featherduster on my collection and everything is dust free!!

    wiping it gently with a soft damp cloth and then damping it dry with a dry one shouldn\'t hurt the mask at all.
