    Hey guys and girls,

This is my FIRST photoshop ever and I wanted to kno what you all thought. I\'ve never used the program before except to use the magic brush. lol. I went blind into this, what do you think? How can I learn to do better? I wanted this to be quick so I did not add real eyes or anything. I\'m not happy with Jman\'s shadowing, but hey it was a first. I hope you guys can help me out or will at least enjoy it. Remember I\'ve never used photoshop before to edit a photo and I dont know what most of the things in the tool bar do. lol
oh, and IDK if the Jman edit will inflame anyone, but if it does please just ignore it, they were on my desktop on the time and the matched.

First try? Wow. Great job! Looks like you\'re on the right track. Keep it up and don\'t get discouraged with the program. I\'ve used PhotoShop for over 10 years now and believe me you can never learn it all. I still find new techniques every project I work on. And I do this professionally. Can\'t wait to see more!

Me too! And I agree, I am always finding new things PS can do. I think it looks great for a first try. If you want to add some more realism, make sure the highlights on J-ason\'s face match that burned guy\'s. That is the one suggestion I can make in photoshop...always pay attention to your light sources or the illusion can fall flat. Above all have fun with it! I love photoshop.

    not bad at all mate

all i would suggest is upping the brightness a little and the contrast, if you have layers (always save a copy somehwere in .psd format so u can come back to it) just try whacking a slight bit a sharpness to the Jman head.
