Thanks. Yeah it was really hard cutting, and blackening up a sweater and hat that nice and costing almost $200 total. But it was worth it. Also added a bullet hole in the front side of the hat that exits out the rear side, kinda like FVJ. I love it so far! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Very creepy to see in your house all night and in the early morning, as was the Jason. Will be doing part 6 Jason and then 7 remake next.

I weathered my part 5 Miller sweater for a Fred part 2 bust that I have. I was originally going to cut the chest open to display a chest of souls for a mannequin display but did not have the heart to damage such a good sweater. In person the Miller sweaters are very good quality and a thick knit.Your weathering work is very well done.<!--quoteo(post=267499:date=Jul 18 2008, 09:12 PM:name=sirbrad)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(sirbrad @ Jul 18 2008, 09:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThanks. Thanks, I had lots of practice making Jason and Myers costumes for about 25 years lol. Yeah I have to be careful how much I cut as I want the sweaters to last for years of wearing, and possibly be washed. I almost need like 3 for each different use. Display would be no problem, but wearing leads to longer and more tears. I also did not add holes yet to the collar or bottom waistband, as to preserve the sweater a little more and not show any clothes underneath. But so far it looks great.Yeah I was shocked as to how tough and heavy the DMC sweater is. I was so afraid of making a mistake weathering it, and I am glad the sweater is very durable as not to keep ripping and fall to pieces. I also would prefer thinner fraying, but again I need to preserve the sweater so I went with thicker.

Few more pics on my lifesized Freddy in progress. Camera does not show the weathering detail enough, and flash cancels most of it out, but just to give an idea. I used my Rubies plastic glove stuffed with paper, and made the glove myself out of yellow cloth gloves. All I need now is a left hand and eyes. Will also be one of my costumes this year, and fits me better than the mannequin, as the mannequin is like 6'4" and primarily for Jason. Up next Jason lives (still waiting on maggot head) followed by New Blood remake, then Manhattan. Probably a few months before I get those done. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

THERE is a great peice! That mask for some reason looks very close to real skin.Almost the same way sillicone does. Its also one of the best masks to use on a life-size display. IMOGREAT JOB!

Yeah ever since I first seen the mask I had to have it. I think it captures Freddy's most common expression better than any other. It is great for display and wearing, though a little hot to wear. I would prefer silicone and to keep this for my display. Looks awesome in low lighting or my red light display.
