Got some stuff to unload if anyone is interested. First is a very rare piece of Evil Dead movie history.....sorta. This was sculpted by Jeff Whenkel years back when he was working on the set of Evil Dead II. The scene where the trees come alive and beat on the roof of the cabin. This was one of those tree props. I had the pleasure to visit Jeff at his old home here in Michigan back when I was apprenticing with Jason Zyla of the old NFX Studios. We went to Jeffs place to pick up his PIN DEMON sculpt and he asked me if I wanted this. Hell Yeah I said! Although it never ended up getting painted and used in the movie that is what he sculpted it for. He cast up a whole bunch and guess they had one too many so he just had it laying around over the years in his studio with all his other Evil Dead props. He said they would wrap these around PVC pipes after they were painted to make the evil, possesed "Trunk" of the tree then would add the seperate tops that had all the branches. This is the prototype. Comes uncut and tagged. Nice thick copy that will stand on its own. Would make for a great prop or display piece.
