If you watch Halloween unmasked they talk about how they looked at one type (emmett kelley) of mask and it was scary but when they walked out with the Shatner mask all painted up a chill when through the air because how creepy it was. It (the rob z. mask) is just to messy now imo. Borderlining on a Leatherface wannabe. But I'm sure I will go see it still. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /><!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndYou'll be pleased to know that Michael acquires a new mask in H2.

I just posted this to give people an idea of what the mask might look like in the film.I've also heard that Michael Myers acquires a new mask at one point in the movie... Does anyone know more about this?

Update from Bloody-Disgusting:UPDATE: We're being told that The Prop Shop is using some very obscure and "market" friendly wording and that this is NOT taken directly from Wayne Toth's sculpt, as it "implies".

I dunno..I am kind of digging the setting and the old school halloween decorations. Anything is better than Michael getting drop kicked by Busta Rymes.http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/topnews.php?id=9770

I really enjoyed 1000 corpses and Rejects (though I find them to be "remakes" of TCM and TCM2). Rob loves horror and it shows, however, he COMPLETELY missed what made Halloween stand out from all the others. He just doesn't get IT..................................Larry<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEnd Hey guys, this is one of my first posts here and just wanted to say Larry is dead on. Putting a past to Myers as a pitiful abused kid who kills because of how he was raised was so stupid, not to mention the acting, i.e. Sherri Moon Zombie. Took away from the mystique and ingenuity of the original completely.

I find it to be distasteful and pathetic.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndHaha dude no disrespect or anything, but you pretty much summed up all slashers in your second sentence. Halloween was by no means "original" to begin with. It took a good bit of stuff from Black Christmas. Then once Jason came out, they tried to make ole' Mikey more like him. Almost all the slashers we grew up on and loved were ripoffs of previous films, man.
