I payed Temptations_Wings for some DVDs he had for sale on the board on June 26th, I sent him a money order for $40. He told me he go the money order and was going to send the dvds. Days went by and nothing, then I would contact him again and he would give me some story why the dvds didnt get shipped. Few more days would go by and another story would come up. Finally like a month went by and the story changed and he said he couldnt get my money order cashed, but he would still send the dvds as a "gift" to me, which was complete nonsense. Then I emailed him again asking if the dvds go sent and he said made up a story how he fell and hit his head at a skate park and that is why the dvds didnt get shipped... I knew when the dvds didnt get shipped right away that I would never get my stuff. I guess he someone else on the board got the rest of the dvds from him... I am wondering who that person is, if they want to step forward and say if they are the ones who were supposed to get them from him? I know Jon was supposed to get a playstation from him, and he never got that either.I have this guys name and address since I sent him the money order, not sure if there is much I can do. I hate getting ripped off though!

Sorry to hear about that, This is one of the reasons why I would never send a M/O to someone unless I know who they are. I'm not really sure what you could do since you sent a M/O.Goodluck with everything and hopefully this guy will grow up and send what you paid for.

If you sent him a postal money order you could call the post office to see if it was actually cashed in or not. Then if it was cashed, you can file a mail fraud complaint against him. I had to do it once but I never knew what came out of it. It seemed pointless because it didn't get back my but it is on record. If he's doing this often with postal money orders and complaints are filed, mail fraud is a federal offense. Just maybe something may come out of it.

Post his name and address so he doesn't go under another user name and scam someone else.

It is utter b/s that someone would come on here and play that kind of game. I know when I had all my stuff for sale I had several people thinking I was screwin them as i NEEDED the money for my son last Fall, so I actually sent some items before I got money and EVERYONE I dealt with kept their part of the bargain!!!!!!There are some options to vindicate the situation, as this person is essentially stealing and committing fraud!!!!Frank
