    <b>I find it sad that SAW is above some real classics, let alone even on the list to begin with.Even Scream beating out TCM is sad to me.</b>

    Of course the list the is accurate but keep in mind that it does not take into consideration: cost to make / profit, time period or number of theaters.For example Jaws broke all kinds of records and was the highest grossing horror film at one time. If it was released now (as a new movie, having never been released) it would probably outgross all horror films again just because it would play on so many more screens and have a bigger special effects budget, etc. TCM for example would also be high on the list but it played on a lot less screens than scream did.
