It looks like a decent addition to the Romero franchise.I wonder if this one will make the theater or head straight to dvd.

Looks like it's going for a slightly more comical feel in some scenes. Some of the effects seemed a bit CGI-ish, but it looks like a decent movie that I give a try if it comes out.

I hope that CG is cleaned up because it looks really bad and stupid. I don't care if it was meant to be comical- bad CG isn't funny, it's stupid. It's sad that practical SFX was basically replaced with crap like that.

Actually George used a BIG effects guy named Francois, who lives here in Toronto. He's done all of the effects for the last 5 SAW flicks.Problem is, the new 'DEAD' flick was once again shot extremely low budget, with a tight time frame, so things like basic bullet hits and such had to be cgi'ed in.That doesn't change the fact that yes, it does look like crap, and it looks fake. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":confused:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> -A

please notice that this is obviously just a very rough trailer, given the running time in the corner and how alot of the screen crawls are missing....I hope they still have a good bit of cleaning up to do.take care,Tommy
