Let me start off by saying I am not much of a Aerosmith fan, but its hard not to appreciate the long skidmark they have made on Rock N Roll history. With that being said, who do you think should take Steven Tylers place? I would say Axl Rose. He sucks without GNR and is to good of a vocalist to be left behind. His attitude needs adjustment and he would need a complete labotomy to make that happen, but as far as his voice, and style, I think it would be a good fit, plus the songwriting talent of Perry would probably inspire the best Axl we have seen since the demise of GNR (not saying much) and make for a decent aerosmith.

Did he die? Or is he going to enjoy the spoils of being a rick star on his own now?

I used to watch these videos of him YEARS ago, before he was even thought of as journey's temporary front man. this guy has an amazing singer, and if I were to pick someone, it'd be himbut of course, that's not possible seeing as how he is now with journey, but still....the guy's good.

Wow that Journey guy is phenominal. To bad he's with Journey. Never been a Journey fan (obviously since I didn't know who the hell he was.) He would be much better suited for Aerosmith. He should quit Journey. I think I will call him and tell him that.

I think it's better that way. plus, the last few guys journey had were atrocious <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pinch.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":pinch:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"pinch.gif\" />

The last person I would suggest is Axel. He just isn't reliable.

Aerosmith needs to pack it in. Done. Over. The best years are behind them. You CANNOT replace Tyler as the frontman. Aerosmith is the US equivalent to the Rolling Stones. Would you wanna see the Stones without Jagger. It makes no sense what so ever!

Guns N Roses just finished a Canadian world tour & they are sounding better than ever. Axl has some really good guitarist in the band named DJ Ashba, Bumblefoot & Richard Fortus who are quite amazing live.If Steve Tyler won't be in Aerosmith they should just retire.Joe Perry has his own band called the Joe Perry Project who opened for Motley Crue while on the recent Canadian tour.
