sounds like one to avoid! i was looking forward to this, the story is one of my all time favourites as a kid and still rate it now.I remember seeing a version years ago by a euro director who used a child actress for Alice and a stuffed white rabbit stop start animation for the the white rabbit (surprise!) but it was amazing and very trippy, the white rabbit tore his seam at one point and all his saw dust strated pouring out, next scene was the rabbit stitching himself up while eating the sawdust to fill himself up again!Anyone else see that version?

I fell asleep . The only things I really cared for in the movie were Depp , the cat , and that crazy rabbit ( not the white one but the other ) . He was funny . I did not care for the choice of Alice and that one queen I could figure out where I knew her from . But how can you not remember Ann from Havoc <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> . I just think the whole thing was hyped too much and didn't live up to it .

I guess I'm way in the minority here, but I liked it a lot.I thought the 3D was really well done. I liked the character design and casting choices, and the script was the right balance of the classic story and a new interpretation. The Red Queen was worth the price of admission all by herself!Oh well, to each their own I suppose.
