    Hehe, I might B)
Well first off I don\'t think there is (for the us market that is) another release available for any of the Guinea Pig movies unless they are cheap copies. Unearthed Films is the only company in the states that has the proper copyrights. Unearthed is planning to release a full box set beginning of next year after the release of the last "official" GP film titled Devil Woman Doctor. I say last official release because some people refer to as Lucky Sky Diamond as a GP flick.
As far as Flower of Flesh and Blood I can only say this: If you haven\'t watched any kind of gore movie before (and I am not talking about NOES or F13) I do not recommend this film. Plus this one is not the best one to start off with in the first place. A good start would be He never dies as it is more of a comedy than anything else.
Having said that I have been watching Horror films for the better half of my life and not only because of the films themselves, but because of the background stories (what made the director make this particular film etc., what did he/she want to convey). That is how I got started with these, it was for a project for a communications course and my presentation was on the effects of extreme gore movies on todays society without the preconceived notions about horrormovies and fans.
Again, these are not your average popcorn and soda type of films and they are definitely not for everyone. I know people that are just as much into Horror as I am and they actually hate these films. Plus if you are not a big fan of a) subtitles and B) japanese cinema these are a definite no-no.

I\'m not sure of the newer version, haven\'t heard of it til now actually. I own the Unearthed release, and I agree with Rob that these aren\'t for everyone. Let us know what you thought of it if you see it.

Actually I was just talking to a friend of mine and I think the other "version" you were talking about is exactly the same disc, but distributed by VenturaDistribution. This company will also be selling the box set which will be available next year. Hope this helps.

I wouldn\'t eat much of anything before watching it. I\'ve seen these movies seriously disturb people, but on the same note I\'ve seen people laugh all the way through them.
