I don't think the age thing will matter much. Think of all the recent movies that show aged actors as younger versions of themselves. Like in "Click" when they showed Henry Winkler in the lake scene camping with his family or in "Terminator: Salvation" when the very young looking Arnold showed up towards the end of the movie............even in TRON: Legacy showing a very young looking Jeff Bridges acting next to a modern day looking Jeff Bridges.

The combination of real actors and CGI "touchups" is becoming a very common thing in movies allowing actors to portray the same character thru decades of the characters life.

I think Arnold should play a character who attacks Terminators by beating them with a dead horse.

The T-800 kills John Connor in the future so this is a perfect opportunity to bring Arnold back.

I agree that they can do a make up or cgi effect to make him appear younger.

It will likely be a small cameo for Arnold & a tip of the hat to him.

i think they should keep Arnold as well. They can CGI his old body and make it just as good. The end scene with Christian Bale from Terminator Salvation was good and looked realistic.

I personally think they will use him just how he is now and have it set in the time period when they are developing the t800

their is some footage showing Arnie as a soldier holding a casting of his head ( one you see a lot of on ebay) which I'm guessing they will pick up more on with this next chapter

Remember with the Terminator franchise they can have it set in the past or future or present so they really can play with it and hopefully it will be better than t3
