the thing that i like about it is that the blade is detachable, i think the master replicas one is permantly attached??

gen 4 means it\'s the latest version from MR. It takes 3 AA batteries instead of 6 like the gen 3 MR FX sabers. The hilt is also a little smaller and more screen accurate.
