I'm in the market for a new computer monitor. Currently I have an old 17" Dell CRT piece of garbage. I'm looking to spend around $300. To use for photo editing, movie editing and all around multimedia purposes. Any suggestions? Or maybe a site with some reliable monitor reviews? Thanks!-Matt

I'm an IT guy, but I'm not up to speed on monitors...may I suggest you ask the same question on TechIMO, a top 1% forum that I moderate? This is a link to the display forum...http://www.techimo.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=7It's a free site and there are a lot of knowledgeable folks there to help. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I wouldn't post up a link to a competitive horror forum, but I'm sure Justin won't mind a link to a computer forum. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Blush\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blush.gif\" />

Well, from personal experience and research, I would recommend this one for your budget: Samsung 20in WidescreenI use that on one of my machines and it's great. However, if you really want to get a beaty, get one of these: Dell 24" WidescreenI use that on my main machine and damn I love it. It works great for movies too...I'm on it right now <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

I got a 32 inch LCD Norcemt for about $600, and will never go below that size again! I am a hardcore gamer, and built my own system which came to about $3200 but is an ultimate gaming machine.http://www.norcent.net/main/product_detail.asp?prodID=64$649.00 on site.

I have a Hanns G 19" Widescreen LCD that is in perfect condition, only reason I want to get rid of it is because I bought a 22" recently. I could let it go for $110
