you know i thought that thing was kick@$$ <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> . sucks that the molding part didn't work out for ya but you learn from the mistakes and i'm sure your next time will be even better with the molding . mike,

I think it looked kinda cool, but you're going to see that when you sculpt it again (and you should), that it's going to look even better. And yeah, doing the plaster mold is the part of mask making that I dread. My first mask I had to sculpt and re-mold 3 times because I kept messing up the mold, and my last attempt at casting my second sculpt was a big debacle. Keep at it buddy!-Justin

Sorry to say you shouldn't have tried to mold it. Don't b in such a rush to sculpt something and mold it right away. Whaen your done scrap the sculpt and start again until you get the correct forms. The more you do it the BETTER you'll get.

No offense but you shouldnt have molded it yet anyways. There is no structure or definition on your sculpt, just seems like you put clay and detailed it. If you paid for supplies you shouldnt have rushed it.

Who is? lolI am just surprised because hunter told me about the project. I think it looks pretty good, but I thought he would put more time into it and make it defined. Its like what I have done with some of my sculpts, just put clay on and dabbed it with a paper towel to make it look dry... I never molded em, but you get the idea. I think Hunter is very capable of making a mask, but he should put some time into it.

Nice effort, but yes you need to take more time with your sculpting, it wasn't ready to be cast yet, theres no point in rushing through the sculpting and casting, i know its frustrating but if you take your time you'll get better results, practice sculpting first, you don't need to cast everything you do.Ask on here if you need any pointers, theres plenty of help to be had
