While you are waiting to buy a new region free player, go download yourself DVD Region Killer v2.6, install it on your PC and all your region code problems will dissappear. I swear on this little program. All you need is a nice set of PC speakers, a loveseat in front of your PC and you are in DVD heaven!!!
