Hello, my name is Johnny. I learned about this board from Lobo. I\'m still doing some catching up on reading some older posts, but I wanted to post an introduction at least. I look forward to participating in forum discussions.
I\'ve only made two latex masks so far, and I\'ve made a few costumes as well. I\'ll also use this as an oppertunity to promote some music. If you\'re a fan of metal music (especially late 80s to 90s metal) then I hope you\'ll give my band a listen. We\'re on MySpace, here\'s our outdated website, and finaly a link to our discography. And if any of you are on the music download things like itunes or musicmatch, we\'re on a bunch of them as well, just search for Omega Tribe.
I look forward to having my work critiqued here and I hope to make some new friends to network with. If there\'s something I can help anyone out with, I\'ll do my best to do it.
Here\'s a few of the things I\'ve made in the past:
Batman cape, faux leather:
I also did the belt pouches and gloves. I made actual useable pouches, and I made some latex ones to fill up the belt.
I did this Jack Sparrow costume, which Neil from Latex Mask Central used on a lifesize replica he made for his mom for Chirstmas in 2004:
Here\'s the first costume I ever made, it was for my son on Halloween one year:
And then I also made him a Robin costume, I\'ve also made a few of these in adult sizes, but I don\'t have any pics posted online anywhere:
Here\'s one of the latex masks I made, along with a costume.....It\'s a lifesize Emperor Palpatine:
And finaly, the first mask I made, my version of Destro from G.I. Joe:
So anyway, there\'s some of the work I\'ve done, and again, I look forward to posting & networking. Thanks again.
