Just checked out the official site ([url=\"http://supermanreturns.warnerbros.com/index.html\"]supermanreturns.warnerbros.com[/url]) and it\'s looking suspiciously like a re-make to me but either way I just don\'t think I could take any new Superman film seriously having grown up with Reeve, the true Superman.

Know how ya feel, but ill give this guy a chance. I must admitt im not the biggest fan of the new suit.

The new film is supposed to be set between Superman 2 & 3.

Its definetley going to be hard to accept someone that isnt Reeve as superman though, he was perfect for that part.

It\'s a semi sequel to the original Donner film (The first one). A "what if he left after one and returns several years later. Check out Blog #17 here:

I read somewhere that Dana Reeve gave Routh her blessing. She said something like, "I wouldn\'t want anyone else playing the role."

Yes SHE did actually. I read that myself.. :thumbsup:
She approved and backed him up on playing the role 100%

I heard about Dana giving Routh her blessing too, i saw Routh speak of it, she basically just wished him the best of luck, really nice of her, still hard to believe shes passed on now too.
