Well, my girlfriend\'s cousin is studying special fx here in Toronto, and she knows Im a part time nut about all that kind of thing. She has arranged to study privately with an fx artist, who has worked on Land of the Dead, and a few tv shows...Earth final conflict I believe.....and guess who they chose to cast, make up etc..

well see about that, but Im at least getting a life cast, and appliances of my very self. So maybe Ill have a crack at sculpting something other than miniature maquettes for drawing...
Ill keep you all up to date with snaps etc. Itll be a nice break from the drawing board/easel
Oh yeah and he has a lifecast of that lovely doll from EFC...might have to get my own copy...for...ehm, ah reference, yeah, thats it....reference :blink:

Well Im just back from Mr Cooke\'s house, and it was quite the experience.
The head casting was quite something. Mildly alarming at first, but easy to relax into...we got a nice clean cast of my old boat race. His basement workshop is full of cool props etc... He did most of the work on Earth Final conflict, and that man female actor, is one freaky deaky looking lady. Really odd, and appropriately alienesque! ooookay, I AM getting a few lovely LOVELY pieces, one used on the space channel here in Canada, and one other big screen used piece you will ALL know and loathe me for gettting I think! haha
not telling what it is just yet, but Ill post pics when I get it Im going to bleed this guy dry!
