Anyone have any suggestions on what to use for sealing patinjobs on latex masks. The perma-wet from monstermakers is a bit pricey. Thanks.

Perma wet is good stuff, but yes it is pricey, i use Liquitex gloss medium for my masks and busts, and i have not had a problem with cracking, i airbrush it on, don\'t know how well it would work if you brushed it on though.

Can liquitex be found at traditional paint or craft stores?

You should be able to get it, perhaps one of my other mask making chums can join in, maybe there is something else available.
Liquitex is available in most stores, and if not they can usually special order it for you, not that expensive either.

i have used liquitex too it never cracked on me but alot has to do with how thick a mask is the thinner the mask the more it will flex...Also airbrushing liquitex gives it a thin layer instead of a brushed on layer.

u can use anythin thats dries clear and is flexible..some glues ect..even if u want buy some clear latex base paint mix u can use it as a sealer since it dries clear but i it could always turn colors over time i never have tried it
