Ander\'s is the best I think of what\'s around now. But I still haven\'t seen anyone get the color as close to the original as Travis from Kruegear did. It\'s a hard color to attain I\'m sure.

i dont want to rub travis down, but i have just acquired something that prooves that travis colour does not match the original. thats why mine are different, and travis told me exactly how to get that colour on the part 1 and trust me, thats the reason why it rubs off and he has to put a sealant on there. please dont be brainwashed by travis\'s screen accurate talk, a few including the part 1 are far from.

it had to be said at some point.

Although this is just a matter of opinion, I\'d have to say that Travis by far made the best Part 1 Glove Replica to date. Regardless of whether or not the color is off, for me it\'s just what I look for in a Part 1 Glove and if I ever had the chance (money) to own one, I wouldn\'t pass it up. But due to recent events with Trav, your best bet would be to get a glove from Raven Media. His work is top notch and he\'s come a long way! Below are pics of one of Trav\'s Glove.

i agree krazed, but can you give me a good pic of the part 1 in natural lighting to compare?

i dont think anyone has ever seen it, except those whom have worked on the film, and i have spoken to robert on the subject many of times and he assures me it was extremely beat up amongst other info.

not wanting to cause arguments with anyone, just a matter of fact from really really in depth research.

Most definatly not, and I don\'t know of anyone who can really. All the more props to you if you have seen an actual picture of the screen used glove.

What it all boils down to is personal preference. What we see on screen and what it actually looked like are completly different things and the question is, Would you really want to have what it looked like on screen or if have it looked like you actually had the screen used glove in your possesion?

excellent point, iv really enjoyed this discussion mate.

yeah i agree it comes down to preference, and the quest to make the pefect glove continues.

To be honest, I agree with you. The body of the glove is probably a bit too big. The blades run in almost a straight line and in the movie, there was a slight curve the entire length of the blade. And part of the leather by the backplate is different and I\'ve seen others make the same mistake with it (I\'m not saying you Andy cuz I haven\'t seen much of your work yet). I wish I could describe it...if you have the colletor\'s edition of part 1 I could explain better.
But what\'s for sure is the backplate. No matter what anyone says, Travis\'s part 1 backplate is the most accurate than any other I\'ve seen. I took some pics and will post them soon as I get a chance.
