I just received this mesage about one of my items. Does it sound like this person wants to use his/her moms ebay account without her knowing or just wants to use "buy it now" so he/she wont have to bid? Something\'s not right. Here\'s the message...

"My mom and I have bought many Smallville/Superman items in the past...I am still young and my mom isn\'t crazy about ebay biding, so the only way I can buy your product is if you put it under buy it now. I have been watching Smallville ever since it started and I love your product. Please make some under buy it now. Email me at .........@aol.com instead of contacting me through my moms ebay account. Thanks"

Your right. It does sound a bit funny...
Well, if he wont let you contact him through eBay, I would say no go.

I wouldn\'t really trust it. I would stay away from dealing with anyone that you don\'t know that uses their mom\'s ebay account. No offense to you youngin\'s out there.

Sounds like a very bad idea, bro. I wouldn\'t even contact him again.

Thanks for the advice all. I just replied through ebay stating that unless they reply to me with a phone number so I can verify with an adult and they use a money order and not a paypal account (which paypal can do a reverse on the money if unauthorized use is done) then don\'t bid on my item/s.
Think that was a good reply?

yeah smart move, sounds like he was trying to purchase without her permission but wanted to make sure the spending wasn\'t crazy.

I make it a rule that if a bidder asks for something odd I stay away. Much easier to sell to normal members. Usually no bad feedback or someone asking for extended pay periods. Either a straight up auction by the rules or nothing. stay away to be safe
