Friday The 13th Pt 4 Screen Used Machete For Sale

im not selling it so i did not post this in the classifieds but i thought some of you would like to see this

If I’m not mistaken Tom Savini still owns the only one used in Friday 4, I just gave my old scream greats laserdisc a spin and the machete used in Friday 4 was also used in Dawn of the dead, no mention of Friday 3. That may just be a generic stunt weapon, could have been used in a number of films, highly doubt it\'s from part 4 though and if it was, the dude selling it needs to provide more proof than "It comes with a COA from myself, displaying the UMCG logo"

It plain to see in both the movie and in behind the scenes photos that this is not the machete used in the movie. The one in the movie doesn\'t have a leather wrapped handle and the blade isn\'t the same shape. I think JDF is right about Savini having the real one.

The most disturbing thing about the seller is he even states that it\'s his best guess that it was used in F13 Pt4...or maybe 3....and the authenticty of his guess is certified by......himself.

I guess its in the realm of possibilties this prop was used to smack the mask off Jmans face, so it wouldn\'t hurt Ted so much as a real one.

I can\'t see how anyone would buy this item for that price without a letter from Savini or something.....
