Hey guys, i have thought about it for a while and me and a buddy of mine decided that we are planning on making a fan film sequel of H9....the way that me and him would see it as right after resurrection (H8). After we finish, we plan to send it to different film festivals to see how they would like it. If it turns out to be good then we'll see what to do from there. But at the moment, if anyone can provide pics of michaels burnt mask at the end of H8 then it will be appreciated for that is what we need for the first few scenes of the film. And the mask that i will be using to play michael will be the lovely Psycho. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> lmk what u guys think of this.Chris

From what I know they didn\'t have any rights to Batman, Predator, or Aliens and they still managed to get recognized.Still it\'d be best to scout out the festivals you want to enter before you make the film, so you know which ones would allow it. If most won\'t allow it, then maybe you should do something more original.Also, by making a sequel to H8, you\'re assuming that everyone watching your film has seen that movie...which is limiting the audience...especially if you rely on events that played out in H8 or earlier films. Not to mention, there are TONS of fan made Myers films out there so know what you\'re up against before you start. People already have pre-conceived notions about characters that have already been done in movies and then fan-made stuff...it\'s harder to impress those audiences. That being said, something more original and innovative could potentially grant you much more exposure if done well. Look at Saw...that was an indie film.But I can see the appeal of doing a Myers film..I\'ve always wanted to do something like that myself...if only for fun. So whatever you decide, have fun with it!

thanx for all the comments guys!!!! and yes, i do know about the copyright. so im not going to use the original title or characters name. im hoping that it will be a hit.but other than that, it isnt gonna be a remake. since most are now considering Rob Zombies remake pt.9. but i still have not found any pics of the burnt mask at the end of H8. does anyone have them????right now since it is spring break and wut not, im not really gonna be getting out much to the beach or anything, just gonna be sitting inside written this script. the only thing that is bad about it so far is that we are gonna be on a tight budget...really tight. maybe right now, at about $2500. and $400 of that went toward my Psycho.
