Quote:Here\'s my info on Aluminum. Hope this clears some of the misconceptions. It is metal but it is not a very strong metal. Not as strong as steel. We all knew that already. <_< <_<
Dictionary Definition of aluminum:
"A silvery-white, ductile metallic element, the most abundant in the earth\'s crust but found only in combination, chiefly in bauxite. Having good conductive and thermal properties, it is used to form many hard, light, corrosion-resistant alloys."
Hope this cleared a few things up. I feel much better with this off my chest.
Below I\'ve posted the periodic table of elements. The \'Blue\' Section is where you find the transition metals. Aluminum\'s atomic # is 13 and its Symbol is Al. There ya go, hope this helps. B)
Summary: Yes folks, aluminum is a metal as it is not in the \'Non-metal\' Section.
