Well, first off you have to start with the right shirt and pants. Some people (including myself, lol) used a darkblue set of clothes, which is actually wrong, since the shirt was darkgreen and the pants grey. I like to use a mix of khaki, brown, black and a little yellow acrylic paint mixed with water in a spray bottle to weather clothes. Get a whole lot of reference pics of the DVD or the Internet and cut the clothes using a steak knife (very important as this frays the ends nicely) according to the pics. Then soak the clothing in a little luke warm water (you don\'t want them dripping wet!) and start spraying a light mist of the acrylic wash on the clothes and let them air dry. After they dried, use some luke warm water mixed with salt and spray the clothing again. Repeat these two steps until you have the desired result. The saltmixture leaves a nice whitish redidue on the clothes that makes it appear old and moldy. I would stay away from using dirt or sand or anything like that as you still want to wear the shirt and the pants and you never know whats in the dirt (plus if you ever need to wash these, acrylic leaves stains, saving you from redoing the whole thing.) Hope this helps.
