I know we all love our horror here but there's a big difference in the way we look at what we are seeing, i find it disturbing to think that you would really enjoy seeing someone killed, don't get me wrong the kill scenes are great but it's the effect i apprecaite and not the action.I love to have a Jason costume and dress up and scare people in the same way the actors do in the movie, that's the difference here and why i think your attitude toward the character and all the other people that prefer the later films has pushed the makers on to make such crappy movies after p4 just to make money. It's like 'Jason fu**ing rules man yeah lets see him kick some more teen ass and turn into a zombie fri**ing space man yeah!'Please........I'm not saying your wrong for your opinions but i do disagree. Here's a fact I never fell in love with Jason at all, i prefer girls, the hockey mask and what it symbolised and the effect it had in the film, yes but not Jason himself, in my mind he was created for the film to be feared. The makers of the movie at the time had no idea he would be so popular otherwise they would have had him wearing a 'drink coke' t-shirt, i don't think he was ever supossed to be an anti-hero, that happened later when the films started to get worse and attracted a different type of audience.
