Ok i sold my SSN H20 mask on ebay. The buyer sent me a message before the auction ended asking if he could pay half now and half the next week. I didnt get the chance to respond so he bid anyway. Its now over a week since the auction end and ive still had no payment.Ive been told the paypal account isnt working and then that a family member isnt well. First off paypal is very easy to use, any problems i have had have been resolved with ease, secondly i am sympathetic to anyone who is having family troubles but i need my money, im trying to get raise money for holiday and if people cant pay under any circumstances they shouldnt by, last of all, i get the impression im being lied to, after all they did ask to pay half one week and half another, are they just stringing me along until they have enough to pay?I dont even get updates from the person anymore. They are actually a member on here and i know they have a history of very shady deals from way back, any advice on what i should do?keeping in mind the guy may still be telling the truth, but either way its not very fair to me!

I already know who bid on your item and won.He commonly wants to do 2 payments - which is cool if it's negotiated between both parties before the sale. However, going through eBay that was not stated in your auction. I would give it another week or so and see if he comes through. If not, you know what to do.Do not hold your breath. He comes through most of the time... but I can count numerous times he's backed out according to other members here.

I think he just gets caught up in buying all the time and he has other obligations of more importance. He's a good guy no doubt and has plenty of successful transactions on the boards. But I think he may needto step away from the hobby for a while and concentrate on other things for a while. I know how easy it isto get caught up and buy every piece that stands out to you and then realize suddenly... wow, I have no cashand my car needs new tires, baby needs diapers, OH CRAP Christmas is around the corner, etc.Hopefully he sends you your cash and takes it upon himself to do a quick resale - that's what I do if I realizeI'm in over my head on hobby spending.

i'd ignore the whole thing and just relist and if you see him bid again , just delete his bid and send a message . but that's just what i'd do . tell him whomever he is that you need all the money at 1 time or don't bid at all . don't let buyers play games with you <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> mike,

You already know my opinion on this matter, bro. Don't tempt fate....Relist the mask and cut down on your stress levels.Cheers,Ryan
