I have used WED when I had nothing else.....Make sure you either make your dividing line with a marker or with an airbrush first.....that way you'll be able to tell the difference between your sculpt and the wall.

One trick I have seen used often in the FX shops by the mold makers: if you dont have em-210 and you only have WED clay for your walls is to baby powder the area where the wall is going to touch the sealed wed sculpture. Just apply the baby pwder with a chip brush and gently blow off the excess. Then lay down your wed clay strip. This helps greatly to release the Wed clay from the sculpture and it will help you see where the clay wall touches the Wed sculpture. This trick also works on oil based sculptures if you want to use Wed clay for your dividing wall.Casey
