Spruce green Big Mac coveralls from JCPenny is as accurate as you can get today. It's the same brand that was used back in 78 for the film. Of course the construction and material varies a bit now. And the original color was called Olivewood (no longer in production).

I just use $29.00 Schmidt Workwear from Tractor Supply Co. Very comfortable and no insulation! Relaxed fit. Best price and style overall, and blue. I used to have green too, but did not see any in my area, so blue works well. <img src=\"http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/4513/knife8kn8.png\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><a href=\"http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay_10551_10001_40168_______14626|14648|14653|40168?listingPage=true&Special=false\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp/wcs/st...p;Special=false</a><a href=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/index.php?showtopic=28025&hl=knife\" target=\"_blank\">http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/index.php?sh...25&hl=knife</a>

But they don't sell them anymore. You could probably find a pair on eGay, or perhaps through another online store besides JCPenny. The best thing, that is still in production, are these. Just dye them with a mix of mostly green and some tan dye.<a href=\"http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?ItemID=11f493d&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=SIZ&ShowMenu=T&ShopBy=0&SearchString=bigmac+coveralls&RefPage=SearchDepartment.aspx&CmCatId=searchresults&Search1Prod=True\" target=\"_blank\">http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx...earch1Prod=True</a>Good luck!Joe
