Alright bruv, so you wanna join the Coco Freddy Silicone club eh? lol. Christian is a hard man to get hold of and does not usually reply to e-mails so you'll be lucky to recieve one from him. Also his english is terrible and it is hard to understand what he is saying. My advice if you really want one is to keep watching e-bay like a hawk until he lists one and then bid and get it that way. I love my Freddy mask from him, I have it in a glass display cabinet and everytime I look at it I say, "Damn, I love that mask." They are well made and have netting inside to make them stronger. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I'd like to join the silicone club, although I'm uindecided whether to hang on and wait for Daz's. But that might not be for another year or so yet so we'll see. I was really just curious as to the price

Can you believe I paid $1,000 for that mask? I'm glad I made my money back on it...But why not go for Composite Effects' silicone Freddy? They only charge $495 + $20 s&h and they'll even do a custom paint job free of charge. Its not bad for the price. However, I would not waste the money on Christian's mask, the seam line on that thing is so visible, the paint job is horrid, and there no place for your nose. He charges around $600 - $750 which is it outrageous for the quality of that thing. I give credit to him for taking on the job of making a mask like that but I just feel that he could have done a way better job. I want Daz's silicone Freddy when he releases it, I have a feeling that mask will take the crown from SPFX as the best silicone Fred available.Nick

Well I think Christians is worth every penny as it looks fantastic in my opinion. Everyone on here slags off his mask and I dont like it as I dont agree with them. They all keep banging on about this cfx mask which is so damn generic that it doesnt even look like Freddy. Well maybe a little, but if you're gonna spend a lot of dough on a silicone then SURELY you want it to look at least like one used in the movies??? As for Daz's one, I feel its a case of people hyping it up because it is not available yet and once it does become available they will all start going on about something else, I gurantee it. I mean if he does do a wonderful looking Freddy silicone then I will gladly sell mine and get one, but to be honest I dont see it happening. I may well be wrong and he might bring out a genius looking mask, but who wants to wait a year or more for it? Not me. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock his mask. I think its great for an independent fx artist thats selling it himself, however I believe that he could have done a much better job. To me it looks like it was rushed too fast. As far as the CFX one goes, the only reason why its generic is because its silicone. It conforms to your facial/skull structure, so your not going to look like Freddy anyway unless you have Englund's exact head and jaw shape. Now its true that the scar and burn marks are not accurate to any of the movies but neither is Christian's or even the SPFX version. I wouldn't have minded owning his mask for my collection if he would lower the price a couple hundred dollars. Although I would like his burned left hand silicone glove but he never responds for some weird reason.Nick
