Why should this one be any better than the last one? The one thing this part has going for it is that it can't get any worse.

On the score - good! I don't want that great score playing over this mess. And now he's even ripping off Ben!<img src=\"http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr226/zombiezombie/wwmd.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Sounds fine by me. If the theme doesn't fit in with Zombie's film, why force it? Besides, Halloween isn't just about a cool theme. I love the theme, I really do, but I'm not going to die without it being in the film. It's a piece of music that has been done in so many ways that, unless it's Carpenter's original, it's really not that effective anymore. As for the score that may be, I think ambient is a good change of pace from the stuff we've heard in previous films (Zombie's first Halloween film included). To me, every composer since the original Halloween II (which had Carpenter involved with the music) has over-thought the music (with the possible exception of Halloween 4, which had a more ambient mood as well). I've always thought that low, quiet sounds were a lot more effective than a large orchestra blaring and booming like crazy.

You know it's funny...I was told by someone close to the production of RZ's first film that they thought of doing a "WWMD?" shirt for that movie and I thought that was pretty funny. Especially since Rob has a few of my shirts and the wife of his FX guy (Wayne Toth) sells my shirts at her store in Hollywood. If there is any relation between his idea and mine, I'll take it as a sincere form of flattery...I doubt they have anything to do with one another but hey, I can imagine it, right? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

Hey Ben - the pic is from Zombie's myspace page. Apparently the film features this character who idolizes Michael Myers.
