Paul Acker and Nikko are the best when it comes to portraits. It just doesn't get any better then that, congrats! Approximately how long did that take and what was the wait time for Paul?

Thanks for the all the comments guys, i can wait til this thing heals up lol my arm was swollen as hell the next day, getting better now.It took us (me and my wife) over 6 months to get our work done, he is not as booked up now because he is taking applications and deciding if he wants to do the work. I'd say if its anything horror or monster related he'll do it, he just doesn't want to do the generic stuff that so many other artists already do and given that his work is so good he has every right to be picky. So if your interested in having him do a piece on you, i'd stop down to the shop after 4pm or call the shop and talk to him if your out of state about what you want done and see when you can get in. He has been travelling lately quite a bit for guest spots. The Creature was done in 5 hours or so i think - my wifes took even longer she got a piece from Brian Froud's Labyrinth book.Anything this size or bigger expect to pay $600 and up - but thats really not that bad considering what some of the other artists out there charge.
