Massive Hatchet 2 Casting Update

With shooting set to begin next month, Adam Green is just about finished casting up his hotly anticipated slasher follow-up Hatchet 2, which will bring Kane Hodder back as Victor Crowley. Bloody Disgusting learned today that filmmaker Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child's Play) and upcoming genre star A.J. Bowen (The Signal, House of the Devil) have joined the previously announced Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, R.A. Mihailoff, John Carl Buechler, and of course Hodder. Holland plays Uncle Bob, while Bowen will play Layton. The sequel follows Marybeth as she escapes from the clutches of Victor Crowley, learns the truth about his curse, and heads back into the haunted New Orleans swamp to seek revenge for her family and kill Victor Crowley once and for all. Clare Grant, Parry Shen, Kathryn Fiore, Rileah Vanderbilt, Ed Ackerman, Rick McCallum, Colton Dunn and David Foy also star.

That Danielle Harris sure has become todays version of Jamie Lee Curtis as a Scream Queen great!!...I just hope she doesn't end up getting cast in anything and everything that comes her way thereby watering down her career...She is pretty much already typecast but inj a good way.J
