Not trying to be a downer, but what the hell is Hollywood's problem? Why does there seem to be such a shortage of original ideas? EVERYTHING is a friggin remake as of late. Do we really need this or remakes of classics like Red Dawn or Footloose???

i dont know how a remake of footloose would appeal to today's younger crowd especially with the many hip hop dance trends and endless dance movies like "step up" "you got served" etc......btw does everyone know that they're also remaking "total recall?" <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":confused:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> .....i wonder who will play Arnold's role <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":confused:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" />

proably the same guy from Terminator Salvation and from Avatar.I think this movie looks like crap!!..I don't care how many friggin horses and extras you throw in a scene it still looks like Gladiator in the woods to me!!!!They always have to go ultra violent in order for it to look different from the other incarnations and yet the friggin Disney version had more story and plot than this..and the Kevin Costner version was also better.I can't believe this is what Russel has been wasting his time on..another friggin Braveheart/Gladiator/lord of the rings...BS !!!...Hollywood has def' run out of ideas and has had none for a while.J

looks ok to me but when i think of Robin Hood , i think of the Kevin Costner film . maybe it's just Russells short hair in this that i keep seeing Gladiator <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":confused:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> . he'd prob. fit the part better if his hair was longer like it was in Mystery Alaska ( which is also a great movie ) . mike,
